Zero Balancing

Where will my Zero Balancing bodywork session take place?
Your Zero Balancing bodywork session will take place in a warm, comfortable, quiet room. Soft music may be played to help you relax. You will lie face up on a table especially designed for your comfort.

Must I be completely undressed?
Most massage and bodywork techniques are traditionally performed with the client unclothed; however, with a Zero Balancing (ZB) session you are fully clothed and lie face up (supine) on a massage table.  Please wear comfortable clothing and socks.  To get a more comfortable session long sleeve tops and long pants (trackpants, jeans, leggings) are recommended. Hoodies and Collared shirts, skirts, dresses not recommended

What parts of my body will be worked on?
A typical zero balancing session is a manual whole body therapy using a set protocol working on the bones of your body e.g: back, ribs, sacrum, hips, arms, legs, feet, hands, head, neck, and shoulders.  However, this is tailored to clients needs at the time and I may start where I feel it is most beneficial first. I also work on your organs, in your ears and mouth.  Ears and Mouth work I use one time use medical latex free gloves.  Organs and mouth, ears fulcrums a ZBX modality, not usually performed on first session.

What should I do during the Zero Balancing bodywork session?
Prior to the session, feel free to ask the practitioner any questions about the technique or the upcoming session. During the session, make yourself comfortable, readjust if needed.  The practitioner will either gently move you or tell you what is needed throughout the session (such as lifting your arm, moving your head). Many people just close their eyes and completely relax, communicating if/when they need or anything else relevant to the session.   Zero Balancing Health Bodywork is most effective when your body is not resisting. If you have any questions regarding the session or about the particular technique you are receiving, please feel free to ask. Ph: 0274 518155

How will I feel after the Zero Balancing bodywork session?
Most people feel calm, balanced and relaxed.  Some experience freedom from long-term aches and pains, some people often experience increased energy, heightened awareness, and greater productivity which can last for days, some have clearer sight meaning life looks brighter..

What are the benefits of bodywork?
Bodywork may help release tension and pain, improve balance and mobility, reduce mental and physical fatigue and stress and amplify calm. Zero Balancing Bodywork may promote better sleep, improve concentration, reduce anxiety and create an overall sense of well-being.

Are there any medical conditions that would make Zero Balancing bodywork inadvisable?
Yes. That's why it's imperative that, before you begin your session, I ask general health questions. It is very important that you inform me of any health problems or medications you are taking. If you are under a doctor's care, depending on the condition, approval from your doctor may be required.
